In the heart of the breathtaking Swiss Alps, a truly unique event awaits you in mid-August: the second edition of our open-air cinema on the Gütsch at 2,300 metres above sea level.

From 15 to 16 August (postponed to 17 August if necessary), enjoy magical films under the starry sky, surrounded by majestic mountain scenery. Immerse yourself in captivating stories in this unforgettable open-air cinema experience in the midst of untouched nature.

Your ticket includes access to the venue, a spectacular round-trip gondola ride with panoramic views, and a selection of snacks. Our food truck “WANDERMATT” will also be on-site with additional food options.

Screenings

Film starts at 9:00 p.m.

• Friday, 15 August: Heidi (age rating: all ages)

• Saturday, 16 August: War Dogs (age 12+)

• Postponement date: Sunday, 17 August (for cancelled screening)

Prices

• Adults: CHF 50 incl. film, gondola round trip, and candy bar

• Children up to 16 years: CHF 30 incl. film, gondola round trip, and candy bar

• GMC members and guest card holders:

  • Adults: CHF 40

  • Children up to 16 years: CHF 25

Gondola Times

• Ascent: from 7:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Descent: directly after the film

Catering

Not included:

• Booking possible up to 24 hours before the event

• Cancellations will be communicated 24 hours in advance

• Tickets are non-refundable and valid for the postponed date (17.8.25)

• Warm clothing and a sleeping bag are recommended – temperatures can be low even in summer
