At 2,048 m above sea level, the Restaurant Calmot stands not only at the top of the Oberalp Pass, but also on the cantonal border with Graubünden. It offers a sensational view of Lake Oberalp, the surrounding mountain panorama and the highest lighthouse in the world, which indicates the source of the Rhine.

In summer, the mountain inn is the starting point for hiking or fishing, motorcyclists enjoy the invigorating stop with a view, and in winter it is located right between the ski slope and the Oberalp railway station. Enjoy the regional specialities here and if it takes a little longer, rooms are also available. In addition, PET and straws are not used.

Tip: In summer, fishing permits for a day at the Oberalpsee can be purchased directly at the restaurant.

Monday to Sunday: 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
