Where there are people, there is litter – including in the mountains. The wind is quick to disperse a paper tissue or plastic wrapping. Because we want to prevent this refuse from ending up in streams and rivers, we’re organising a clean-up day in Andermatt in collaboration with POW, the Summit Foundation and Andermatt-Urserntal Tourismus GmbH.
We’ll meet on Saturday, June 19 at 8:30 a.m. or at 10:15 a.m. in Piazza Gottardo in Andermatt Reuss. The second group will perform a shorter clean-up round. After a brief introduction, we’ll head to the countryside in guided groups. Back at the car park, we’ll weigh the collected refuse before it’s taken away for recycling.
We’ll conclude the clean-up campaign with snacks and refreshing Möhl beverages, accompanied by music.
