Information about scooter bike rental

Due to frost and safety reasons, the rental of the scooters is discontinued with immediate effect.

The scooter bike is, as the name suggests, a cross between a scooter and a mountain bike. The vehicles have wide tyres with tread, are well-suspended and equipped with disc brakes - in other words, they are fully suitable for mountain biking. Scooter bike rides are fun for the whole family.

Here you can view the Trottibike route

You can hire the scooters at the Gütsch mountain station of the Gütsch Express and return them at the Nätschen middle station. A ride costs CHF 15 for adults and CHF 10 for children. Bike helmets are compulsory and will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own helmet. The minimum height for scooter use is 1.25 metres (the chin should be above the handlebars so that you can steer and brake). The minimum age for independent use of a scooter bike is 14 years for young people not accompanied by an adult.

Opening hours

Our mountain scooter rental service is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On request, the mountain scooters can also be rented during the week. Please note the following:

  • Reservations by telephone until 3 p.m. the day before +41 58 200 68 68

  • Reservations are only accepted for a minimum of four scooters

If the Nätschen-Gütsch railway service is suspended, the scooter rental is closed.

Linger on the Nätschen

After the exciting descent, the Matti family restaurant on the Nätschen is the perfect place to take a break. The children won't get bored here either: inside there's a play corner to discover, outside they can let off steam on the trampoline.
