In summer, the Oberalp Pass, at 2032 m above sea level the highest point of the Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway, connects Sedrun with Andermatt. For motorcyclists, car drivers and cyclists, the pass with its 16 hairpin bends is a challenge and offers unique views of the surrounding mountains in the centre of the Alps.

In winter, the pass road is closed and the Oberalp Pass belongs to winter sports enthusiasts. The Schneehüenerstock Express connects the ski areas of Nätschen-Gütsch with Sedrun-Oberalppass.
