Clean-Up Day Oberalppass

Description
The snow is melting, and summer is coming. To keep nature clean, Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG together with the Summit Foundation is organizing a Clean-Up Day. On Saturday, 4 July, we will meet to clean the area around the Oberalppass. Afterwards, enjoy a communal lunch and relaxed get-together.
Program: We will move in several groups offering longer/alpine and shorter clean-up routes. Meeting point for all groups: Schneehüenerstock-Express valley station at Oberalppass. A detailed route description will be provided after the program.
9:00 | Group 1: Welcome, briefing, coffee & pastries
9:30 | Group 1: Start Clean-Up
10:00 | Groups 2 & 3: Welcome, briefing, coffee & pastries
10:30 | Groups 2 & 3: Start Clean-Up
12:30 | All: Meet at valley station, sort and weigh trash, group photo
13:00 | All: Lunch & social gathering
Routes:
Group 1: Oberalppass - Val Val, 6 km, 452 m ascent, 3 h, meet 09:00
Group 2: Oberalpsee & parking, 4 km, 44 m ascent, 2 h, meet 10:00
Group 3: Oberalppass - Calmut, 4 km, 245 m ascent, 2 h, meet 10:00
Registration: Please register via the free event booking for Clean-Up Day 2026. Only register multiple people together if they are in the same group.
Meeting Point: Schneehüenerstock-Express valley station (Oberalppass)
Practical Info: Details will be sent via email a few days before the event.
Material: Sorting bags provided. Indicate at registration if you can bring your own gloves. If not, gloves will be provided.
Clothing: Mountain-appropriate shoes (hiking/trekking) and weather-appropriate sun/wind/rain protection.
