Freeride Friday

Discover freeriding in Andermatt with a local mountain guide and experience classics such as Giraffe or Felsental up close. In open groups, you will benefit from regional expertise, safe route selection and valuable tips for off-piste skiing. The offer takes place every Friday from 2 January to 27 February. Places are limited, so early registration is recommended.

The offer is aimed at skiers and snowboarders with beginner to advanced fitness levels and advanced to professional off-piste skills. Snowboarders should be experienced riders, able to perform heel and toe side turns safely, have foldable poles and be fit enough to master flat passages.

During the lunch break, the current avalanche situation in the region will be discussed. Your mountain guide will also provide you with valuable information on avalanche equipment and how to use it safely.
