  • You can travel from Zurich, Basel, Lucerne or Locarno to Andermatt with the modern Treno Gottardo of the Südostbahn.

  • There you take the Gütsch-Express to the middle station, where you can enjoy coffee and croissants in the Matti family restaurant.

  • You continue with the gondola in the direction of Gütsch and then hike to the Schneehüenerstock past the beautiful Lutersee.

  • In the restaurant with the best panoramic terrace you can enjoy traditional Älplermagronen for the main course.

  • The gondola then takes you back down towards the Oberalp Pass, where you can have your coffee and dessert at the Piz Calmot.
