Description

The Rohr circular trail in Unteralp near Andermatt combines natural diversity and alpine impressions. From the village bridge, the trail leads up the steps to the Mariahilf chapel. Shortly afterwards, the first rest area with a fireplace and stream invites you to take a break. The trail then leads up to the Schützenhaus, where you can enjoy a sweeping view of the Urschnertal valley, the Nätschen and the surrounding peaks. The trail continues to the impressive Gurschenbach waterfall, which you cross over a bridge. The descent leads back towards the valley, past the Rohr barbecue site - an idyllic place to pause for a moment. You finally return to Andermatt via a small road. The varied circular trail offers a mix of nature conservation areas, high alpine landscapes and sweeping views - ideal for trail runners who want to combine nature and exercise.
