Guided Snowshoe Hike Gamsboden
Meeting point at 10:45 am at Hospental train station (UR).
Return to Andermatt at around 2:30 pm
Equipment: Sturdy, warm winter boots or high hiking boots, snowshoes, poles, windproof ski clothing, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, drink, picnic.
Description
The Gamsboden, located south of Hospental, is the perfect terrain for taking your first steps with snowshoes or enjoying a leisurely hike. Wide and open, traversed by the meandering Gotthardreuss, it is usually peaceful here in winter. With a bit of luck, we may spot chamois on the slopes, searching for food between the snow.
On our circular tour, we immerse ourselves in this winter wonderland and enjoy our time in the great outdoors. Around midday, we take a break and have a picnic from our backpacks.
