Description
Experience the local culture on a car-free Saturday in the center of Andermatt. Enjoy traditional music, local customs, regional specialties, encounters with animals, and exciting guided tours for all ages. Program for July 25, 2026 Starting at 11:00 a.m. - Car-free village center All day - Beekeeper’s stand at the Hotel Crown parking lot - Olivia & Jordana Christen’s sales stand at the Hotel Crown parking lot - Bouncy castle at the Meyer’s Sporthaus parking lot - Giant Jenga at the Pinte Pub & Club Starting at 3:00 p.m. - Göscheneralp Goat Paradise petting zoo with guided tours through the village starting at the Meyer’s Sporthaus parking lot Starting at 3:15 p.m. - Alphorn players - Flag-wavers - Musical groups - Traditional costume groups - Performances at three locations in the village center (Riverhouse/Sternen, Toutoune/Crown, and Adler/Mundartcafé areas) Village tours (starting at the Andermatt Post Office) - 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Guided tours of the Ursern Valley Museum (starting at the museum entrance) - 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. The event will take place only if the weather is good. Additional car-free Saturdays: August 1: National Day (program to follow) August 8: Tavolata (program to follow) August 22: Village Market (program to follow) These events will take place only if the weather is good. A decision on whether an event will be held is made each Thursday afternoon.
