Overview of the Gulf Region

Four golf courses with different characteristics

Two Alpine passes, four golf courses, six partner hotels and the Swiss Alps Golf Pass - these are golf holidays in our region.

Sporty, enjoyable and unique - that describes the Andermatt golf region. It includes the 18-hole Andermatt Golf Course and the three 9-hole courses in Realp (Uri), Sedrun (Grisons) and Obergesteln (Valais), which are each 30 to 50 minutes by car from Andermatt and can also be reached by train.

Versatile golf experience

Four golf courses with different facets have entered into a partnership for the Andermatt golf region: Andermatt's 18-hole course is a championship course with 15 flat fairways and some alpine elements. The Realp golf course, a few kilometres away at the foot of the Furka Pass, is considered the most alpine golf course in the world with a 120-metre difference in altitude; golfing here also becomes a mountain hike. On the Valais side of the Furka Pass, the course of the Source du Rhône Golf Club has a completely different character. The course is situated on a flat plateau directly on the banks of the Rhône and is the longest 9-hole course in Switzerland. And on the Graubünden side of the Oberalp Pass, not far from the source of the Vorderrhein, lies the 9-hole course of the Sedrun Golf Club. At the spectacular final hole, you hit the drive over the Rhine, which is still a narrow mountain stream here.
