Description

From Fuorns we hike uphill on the snow-covered alpine road in wide bends. The gradient is gentle and if there is already a track, we have enough breathing room to chat. When there is fresh snow it is more strenuous, but the deep snow-covered forest, interspersed with particularly mighty and gnarled fir trees, makes up for it in many ways. In between, clearings open up and the view becomes clear, up and down the valley. Shortly before Alp Puzzetta we leave the forest behind us, the roof of the hut becomes visible and a little later we are amazed at the bold architecture we have in front of us! The contrast, red building, blue sky and white snow is impressive. We look for a picnic spot in the sun and take our time before hiking back down the same route. You can also take a shortcut from time to time and blow up a lot of snow.
