Description

Thanks to the leisurely climb on forest paths, we classify this trail as a “pleasure tour”. It can also snow a little, which makes the hiking experience through the winter forest even more exciting. We start at the parking lot near the chapel in Cavorgia and follow the signs in a south-easterly direction. Traces of rabbits, squirrels, deer and deer can be found everywhere and we hear the delicate chirping of wood tits. If we behave calmly, there is a good chance that an animal will cross our path. When we arrive at the Maiensässe, we walk in an arc across the pretty forest clearing and then look for a nice place to rest. On the way back we shorten the tour to Cavorgia over open terrain, which is a special pleasure when there is fresh snow.
