Would you like to search for glittering rock crystals or gold in the Rhine yourself and discover the treasures of the Alps? There are a few important rules to follow:

You must strictly comply with the law governing panning and gold mining. Please familiarize yourself in advance with the gold panning guidelines of the municipalities of Tujetsch and Disentis/Mustér. In both municipalities, panning is not permitted on Sundays and holidays.

As a general rule: If it’s not mentioned in the law, it’s not allowed!

Gold panning is permitted only during specified times and in designated areas.

A fee-based permit is required for gold panning, which you can obtain from the municipal administrations or at our visitor information centers. In Tujetsch, you need a gold panning permit, which you can obtain from the municipal administration or at our visitor information center in Sedrun.
