It is probably the world’s highest Japanese restaurant! Headed by Executive Chef Dietmar Sawyere, the gourmet restaurant is one of just two Japanese restaurants in Switzerland with a Michelin star. It offers modern, elegant Japanese cuisine at the highest level. The Japanese by The Chedi Andermatt is located near the mountain station of the Gütsch Express gondola at 2,300 metres above sea level. On the large terrace, you’ll enjoy a spectacular view looking out toward the Oberalp Pass and Gotthard and into the Urseren Valley.
