E-bike route: Disentis - Maighelshütte - Disentis

We start the route on side roads and driveways from Disentis via Segnas to Mompé Tujetsch. If despite e-assistance we needed more power than expected, we can recover a bit on the descent down to the Rhine. Past the pretty alpine meadows of Mises Las Cavorgia we pedal uphill again to Cavorgia, a small village inhabited all year round. The nicest spot to take a break is definitely around the chapel.

We continue on the right side of the Rhine (flow direction) past Lag da Claus and later past the Vorderrhein power station to Selva. Here we switch to the cantonal road, which we can leave again at Surpalits, at the height of the Ziegenalp Milez towards Maighels.

The path winds in wide bends, sometimes steeper, sometimes a little flatter, up to Lai Urlaun. We can even manage the last steep "push" to the hut easily with the bike.

For the return trip we choose the cantonal road back to Disentis.
