Description

As long as the Oberalppass is still closed to car traffic, we take the first train to the pass summit. At the end of April and beginning of May, we can even reach the starting point earlier by car. At the lighthouse, we start right away and, in the lower part, we are certainly not the only ones on the way. However, once we reach the small valley Puozas, we leave the busy ascent route to the Pazolastock. We now follow the hollow in a westerly direction, where we rarely encounter other ski tourers. The terrain is clear, we look for the best route across the hilly terrain and already imagine where we will leave our tracks in the still untouched snow. The anticipation grows. When we reach the signpost of the Pazolalücke, we are rewarded with an impressive view down to Andermatt. However, we do not stay long, as we want to have a mid-morning coffee in the restaurant at the pass summit.

The descent along the ascent route? Short but chocolate!
