Segnas - Bostg summit route

Description
We start our route in Segnas above the village, and at first, we occasionally come across skiers since Val Segnas is a popular valley descent. However, after that, only we are on the way as the snow-covered forest road steadily climbs up to the alpine meadows of Run Cunel. A look into the valley tells us that we have already gained some altitude.
But the more strenuous part is yet to come. We ascend on a hiking trail to the alpine pasture Barschaus, a good opportunity for a break before tackling the last section. After the forest, we soon see our goal and are glad that someone has already broken a trail ahead of us. Arriving at the Swiss flag, slightly below the actual summit, we are greeted by a fantastic panorama and watch freeriders from the opposite ski area leaving their tracks on the slopes of Val Segnas. We stay here, even though it is not the actual summit, because further up is a wildlife quiet zone!
The valley hike on our ascent track is relaxing and gives us time to look around longer.
