Description

We travel with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway from Disentis or Sedrun to Nätschen and the sledding fun starts right at the train station. After a few initial pushes, we pick up speed and snow is flying under our runners.

The slope is moderate and there is enough space for sledders and pedestrians. The route is very popular with families, as even younger children can soon steer their own sled. However, the last stretch before Andermatt requires a bit more concentration because the piste leads from the road directly down to the station. The train brings us back to Sedrun or Disentis.

Sled rental is available in sports shops or at the valley station in Dieni.
