Chapel Maria Hilf
Description
The Maria Hilf Chapel in Andermatt was built in 1735/1736 by local architect Bartholomäus Schmid to protect against avalanches. It stands on a hill above the village and offers an impressive view of Andermatt. The chapel is just a few minutes' walk away and symbolises both faith and protection with a powerful view.
