Crystal cave Pfaffensprung

Description

At 165 metres long, the Pfaffensprung crystal cave near Wassen is the second largest cave in Switzerland. The entrance is about a 15-minute walk from Wassen. Since the Middle Ages, sparkling and glittering rock crystals have been brought to light here, originating deep inside the mountains. Geo Uri offers guided tours with Peter Amacher that are suitable for families, companies and clubs. Visitors should bring old clothes, a torch and a helmet (e.g. bicycle helmet) as it is cool, damp and dark in the cave.
