James Bond Goldfinger Curve

Description

In 1964, the Furka Pass road served as an impressive backdrop for the James Bond film ‘Goldfinger’. At the centre of the legendary scene is a striking, wide bend on the Uri side of the pass, which is now known as the ‘James Bond Goldfinger bend’. In winter, the ‘Goldfinger’ snowshoe trail around Realp adds a touch of adventure to this idyllic landscape. Anyone looking for a ‘licence to discover’ will find it here, in the midst of the snow-covered Alpine landscape, where film history and nature merge in a unique way.
