Nostalgie Bed & Breakfast Chrämerhus
Description
We take our guests on a journey back in time. Staying at the Chrämerhus, with its former village shop dating back to 1912, becomes an experience. At the Chrämerhus, the wooden plank floors creak, the beams groan, and on some days the wind whistles around the house. That’s when the rooms, warmed by the old soapstone stoves and equipped with washbasins, become truly cozy and homely. When winter storms and snow rage outside and we light the candles inside, you can listen to the crackling fire during dinner (by reservation). This is exactly what gives this special house its charm and coziness, and why our guests feel so comfortable here. A house that recalls times long past, a house where you can experience history. Our dreamy garden with terrace also invites you to linger. Here, you can watch our vegetables grow.
From the kitchen
A stay with us at the Chrämerhus means enjoying with all your senses. The Chrämerhus offers regional specialties in all their variety – traditional and authentic. The menu includes a selection of genuine, homemade dishes from the valley and region that delighted palates even in grandmother’s time. In the morning, a hearty breakfast awaits you with homemade jams and juices, muesli, alpine butter and cheese from the region, sourdough bread and braided bread, as well as heart-shaped fried eggs. “Everything here is made with lots of love.”
Wellness
Sweat it out or relax and splash around. In our cozy wellness area inside the house, a bio Swiss pine sauna, a heated stone lounger, and a freestanding retro bathtub with mountain views are just waiting to be enjoyed by our guests. For those who like it hotter, we recommend healthy sweating in the former goat stable with a sauna barrel and cold water tub. (By reservation).
