Railservice Glacier Express

Description

In just under eight hours, the Glacier Express panoramic train takes its passengers through the Swiss Alps from St. Moritz via Andermatt to Zermatt or vice versa. It crosses 291 bridges and travels through 91 tunnels. Thanks to extra-large windows, the panoramic carriages offer an unrestricted view of rugged cliffs, unspoilt forests and deep gorges. The railway journey also takes you past lovely plains, bizarre rock formations and crystal-clear mountain lakes.

The Glacier Express stops in numerous mountain villages full of charm and Swiss flair - including Andermatt. It's worth getting off!

The Glacier Express runs all year round and tickets and timetables can be found here.
