Forest and Climate Association Ursern

The Wald & Klima association is dedicated to expanding and maintaining the forest area in the Ursern Valley. Through targeted reforestation efforts, new trees are planted and intensively cared for during their first years.

Each year, the non-profit organization can count on the support of around 150 volunteers. In addition to planting trees, regular maintenance work is also carried out. Ferns and grass around the young trees are trimmed back, and in autumn, the seedlings are protected from wildlife browsing.
