The rocks of Lai Alv at 2,500 metres above sea level invite you to climb with their structured granite. The Disentis rescue group has set up about 30 routes in the glacier-cut rocks. These have lengths of about 20 metres and difficulty levels between four and seven. All routes are well equipped with bolts and are also suitable for climbing with children.
For experienced climbers, there are multi-pitch routes of sixth difficulty in the steep granite of Crap Baselgia and Gendusa's east spur. These routes are also equipped with bolts.
The climbing guidebook "30 Adventures on the Mountain" with the climbing gardens and routes around Lai Alv is available at the Disentis mountain railways or in the panorama restaurant Caischavedra at the mountain station of the Caischavedra cable car. On request, our local mountain guides will accompany you on your climb.
