5-Hut Panorama Route: Stage 4 Bergseehütte SAC to Voralphütte SAC

The 4th stage of the 5-hut panorama route starts at Bergseehütte. About 200 m east of Bergseehütte, near a conspicuous cross, you leave the hut trail and follow a blue-white signpost. Mostly pathless across large boulder fields, the path climbs to the foot of the imposing east face of Bergseeschijen up to an approximately 30 m high, inclined rock step. With the support of some chains, you reach diagonally right ascending into the notch between Bergseeschijen and Hochschijen. From this notch, you first descend through a hollow to the northeast and follow the markings which lead northwards. After a final ascent of about 150 m, you stand in the small notch left of the Horefellistock. The following descent downwards heading north is somewhat steep until you reach the bridge over the Schiessend Bach. The path now leads into the landscape of green mountain meadows, crosses the Voralpreuss, and climbs the last 70 m to the beautifully situated Voralphütte.
