Description

The cable car in Dusentis takes us comfortably to Caischavedra, where the tour begins. The path through the damp meadows of Alp Magriel is lined with orchids and cotton grass. Alpine roses bloom on the slopes in July, a beautiful contrast to the snow-covered peaks. The water of Lag Serein is clear and pure as the name suggests and you can also take a refreshing swim. There is now a short climb around the Muotta dil Tir to Val Clavaniev. From there there are only a few hairpin bends until you reach the Lag Crest Ault. It's worth taking a longer break here to strengthen yourself for the descent. But if you take it at a leisurely pace and have hiking poles with you, the altitude can be easily mastered. You return to the valley station of the cable car via Plaun Grond and Clavaniev.

The Lag Crest Ault dries out as the summer progresses.
