Gloggentürmli

Description
The starting point for this hike is the Gotthard pass. From there, it goes with a gentle ascent to the blue Sellasee, which invites you to take a breather. A look upwards is worthwhile because the two distinctive fingers of the Gloggentürmli are already looming. These always show the way. A rocky ascent to the Glockentürmli follows. Once at the top, you are rewarded with a comprehensive view. After a break, the same path back to the Gotthard pass is taken underfoot.
Alternatively, the hike can be extended to the Gemsstock mountain station (the cable car is not in operation during summer) and from there descend into the Unteralptal or take the same way back. The path down from Glockentürmli to Gafallenlück is somewhat rocky but worthwhile. At the bottom, there is even a small lake. Over rocky ledges secured with cables, hikers then descend from the Gafallenlück until it goes back up to Gemsstock.
