Lolen Pass/Lola Pass

From the Oberalp Pass, the beautiful trail—surrounded by lovely meadows, rocky outcrops, and breathtaking views—slopes gently down into the Maighels Valley and then climbs up to the Maighels Hut. From there, a gently ascending trail continues on to the Lolen Pass. A crystal-clear mountain lake invites you to take a breather and take a dip in its refreshing waters, all while enjoying a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain range. The descent then leads across alpine meadows and countless hairpin turns down to the dirt road in the Unteralptal valley. On a wide trail lined with alpine flowers, you then follow the Unteralpstrasse to Andermatt.

The Lolen Pass is a pure delight, surrounded by diverse natural beauty. The stream, which starts out as just a trickle, gains more and more water, forming mossy areas and small lakes.
