Description

On the road along the Santa Maria reservoir we have time to warm up. After the Passo dell`uomo we enjoy the run on a single trail, over flowery alpine meadows and past marmot colonies.

Already from a distance we see the Capanna Cadagno, which lies somewhat elevated on a hill. The modern architecture is impressive: the old hut has been preserved in its core, but has been extended all around with bright and functional rooms. .

For the way back we choose the natural road over the alp Carorescio with a view on the Pizzo delle Colombe, which in its shape and form stands like a stranger in the landscape. We leave Lagozzo della Segna to the left, unless someone would like to take an icy cold bath. Through the Val Termine, the loose stones again require a lot of attention, but then we can easily walk along the lake to the parking lot.
