Description

We drive to Siltginas, above Sogn Benedetg, by car and find somewhere to park. Along the wildlife rest area and on the summer trail, we make our way to Alp Crap Ner Sut, which is idyllically hibernating. We take our first break here, even though we haven't yet completed half the ascent. Below the Plaun Schigels, we climb further up into a wide hollow, which shows us the direction and past the Fuorcla Crap Ner on the right. After a final flatter section, we need to mobilise our strength once again, as it gets quite steep until we reach the ski depot. We head to the summit via an airy ridge, with a summit cross and a 360-degree mountain panorama. We are denied a deep view of the Surselva, as we have caught one of the rare days with high fog. We pass the time with the Peak Finder on our smartphones, because you don't often have such a large selection of snow-covered peaks all around you.

The descent runs via the Glivers Dadens Sut alp. A pleasure, whether powder snow or slush.
