Description
The path first leads us through hay meadows and pastures to Mises Grond. Above Mises, we enter a replanted forest. Zigzagging, we steadily gain altitude until we reach the tree line at Pegn dil**Capi**.
Continuing, we hike depending on the season through blooming alpine roses, heather, blueberry and cowberry bushes. As soon as we reach the plain of Alp Caschlé, we can already see the large flat stone in the middle of the meadow. A small sign tells us that we are in the right place. The legend says that the stone was transported on a spider thread from the opposite Alp Culmatsch to Caschlé and that witches danced on it. Following the motto "fun is a must," we also dare a short dance and hope no one films us.
We begin the descent on the same path we came. At Stavel Caschlé, we turn right so that we can descend through Foppa Verda via Uaul Flurin. Through Zarcuns and Camischolas, our route ends again at Sedrun train station.
