Description
The culinary journey begins at the Krüzli Hotel and Restaurant in Sedrun. After a refreshing meal, it’s time to lace up your hiking boots and follow the trail through Camischolas toward Rueras. Along the way, you can fill your backpack with delicious products from the farm stands and take a delightful break at Camping Viva. This idyllic nature campground features a charming restaurant with a terrace and serves homemade and regional specialties. The trail continues through the shady Surreiner Forest to Lag da Claus, where a dip in the fresh, cool water is a must. Here in Ustria, you can also enjoy a refreshing “Clau”—the Tujetscher counterpart to the widely known “Hugo”—an aperitif made with white wine from the Bündner Herrschaft and local syrup.
The excursion map for the digital route can be found here.
